Think Different

He was born on February 24th, 1955 to a Syrian immigrant "Abdulfattah Jandali" from the Homs area who later became a political science professor, and a German American "Joanne Schieble" who, according to his father, gave him up for adoption because her parents didn't accept the idea that their daughter had a child with a Syrian. I will spare you the details about Steve Job's life as you can hear it from him in the video below of his 2005 Stanford University commencement address.

If you're reading this post, you have certainly used some of his many visions to do so. Among his many life-changing visions were the personal computer, the mouse, computer fonts, the iphone, ipod, and ipad.
I don't think I've been more excited about any purchase as I was when I bought these products. Except for the ipad, I have them all. As in his early Apple commercial in the video below, he thought different, changed things, and pushed the human race forward.

Steve Jobs died yesterday of complications of cancer. Thank you, and Rest in Peace.

think different !
his father thought different than the way we think in Syria , and see the result.. we lost his attribution to humanity to be named in our record as Syrians !!

I think that's trivial. As time passes by, people just remember the person, his name, and his inventions rather than his nationality. We're still proud he's of a Syrian origin of course.
